Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Forjex platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Forjex. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@forjex.com.

You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use a misleading username or profile.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Forjex offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Stripe, depending on your platform.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • Cancellation:You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings or your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • Refunds: Refund eligibility is determined by Apple, Google, or Stripe depending on where you subscribed. We do not process refunds directly for app store purchases.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
  • Coach subscriptions: Coaches subscribe through the same payment systems. Coach tier pricing and features are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload, including posts, photos, videos, workout logs, comments, and messages. By sharing content on the platform, you grant Forjex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating the service.

You are responsible for any content you post. Content must not be illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringe on anyone else's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.

6. Social Features

Forjex includes social features such as a feed, stories, short-form video (Bursts), comments, messaging, squads, leaderboards, and profile pages. When using these features:

  • Respect other users. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, and spam are not tolerated.
  • Do not post content that is sexually explicit, promotes violence, or targets individuals or groups.
  • Do not use the platform to advertise products or services without permission.
  • We may moderate, restrict, or remove content and accounts that violate community standards.

7. Coaching Platform

Forjex provides tools that allow coaches to deliver training programs, communicate with clients, and manage their coaching business. If you use the coaching platform:

As a coach:

  • You are responsible for the programs, advice, and content you provide to your clients.
  • Forjex is a platform — we do not employ coaches or guarantee their qualifications.
  • You must accurately represent your qualifications, certifications, and experience in your coach profile.
  • You agree not to solicit clients off-platform to avoid Forjex fees.

As a client:

  • Coaches on Forjex are independent professionals, not Forjex employees.
  • Forjex does not verify coach certifications or qualifications beyond basic profile checks.
  • Any coaching relationship is between you and the coach. Forjex is not liable for the advice or programs a coach provides.

8. AI Coaching

Forjex offers AI-powered coaching features including training plans, nutrition plans, form analysis, and chat-based coaching. These features are informational tools — they are not medical advice and should not replace professional guidance.

AI recommendations are generated using third-party providers and are based on the data you provide. Results may not always be accurate or suitable for your specific circumstances. Use AI coaching features at your own discretion.

9. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Forjex is a fitness tool, not a medical service. Nothing in the app — including AI recommendations, workout plans, nutrition guidance, or coach-provided programs — constitutes medical advice.

Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have existing health conditions, injuries, or concerns. You use the app and follow any training plans entirely at your own risk.

10. Game World and Virtual Items

Forjex includes a game world with avatars, XP, levels, cosmetic items, and virtual interactions. Virtual items and currency have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside the platform. We may modify or remove virtual items at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

The Forjex name, logo, app design, game world assets, and all associated content are owned by Forjex Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

The exercise library, AI-generated content, and game world assets are provided for personal use within the app only.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the platform without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or connected networks
  • Create accounts using automated methods (bots)
  • Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities — report them to us instead
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or use the platform in a way that harms other users or the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before or at the time of termination.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forjex Ltd and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to injury from exercise, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated content.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forjex Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
